Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using Catalyst. By accessing the Platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Catalyst, an online learning platform available at gocatalyst.my and its related services, courses, certificates, products, and features ("Platform").

Catalyst is a brand operated by Biorehab Group PLT (LLP Registration No. LLP0005319-LGN) ("Biorehab", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a product, accessing content, downloading materials, receiving a certificate, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Platform.

1. Eligibility and Account Use

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to use the Platform.

To access certain courses, products, certificates, or features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • providing accurate and updated information;
  • keeping your login details confidential;
  • all activity under your account; and
  • notifying us promptly of any unauthorised access.

You must not share, sell, transfer, or allow another person to use your account.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if we reasonably believe it contains false information, has been compromised, is being misused, or breaches these Terms.

2. Courses, Enrollment, and Access

When you enroll in a course, you receive access to the relevant course materials, videos, quizzes, assessments, resources, and certificate pathway, subject to the conditions of that course.

Course access may be lifetime, limited-time, subscription-based, cohort-based, event-based, or otherwise stated on the course page.

We may update, improve, replace, or remove course materials from time to time to maintain accuracy, quality, relevance, or compliance.

Completing a course does not guarantee employment, promotion, professional recognition, regulatory approval, clinical competence, business success, or any specific outcome.

In-Person and Event-Based Courses

Some courses are delivered in person or as live events at a physical venue on specific dates. For these courses, the course page, confirmation, or booking details will state the venue, date, time, and any attendance requirements.

If you need to travel or arrange accommodation to attend an in-person course or event, we strongly recommend that you contact us to confirm the course is proceeding before booking any flights, transport, or accommodation. We are not liable for any loss, cost, or additional charge arising from travel or accommodation arrangements made before confirming with us.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices for courses, products, and services are displayed on the Platform or at checkout. Prices may change from time to time. The price shown at the time you complete your purchase is the price applicable to that transaction.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, including Curlec / Razorpay, or other approved payment providers.

By making payment, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.

Your card details, online banking credentials, banking password, or bank login details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored on our servers.

We may retain transaction records such as payment amount, date, item purchased, payment status, invoice or receipt details, and payment reference for accounting, tax, audit, refund, support, and fraud-prevention purposes.

4. Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges

Refund eligibility depends on the type of purchase and your level of access or use.

Online Courses

You may request a full refund within 14 days of enrollment only if you have not:

  • accessed course materials;
  • viewed course videos;
  • downloaded course resources;
  • attempted any quiz or assessment;
  • submitted any assignment or activity; or
  • received, downloaded, or used a certificate.

Once you have accessed or used the course content, attempted an assessment, downloaded digital materials, or received a certificate, the course fee is generally non-refundable, unless required by law or approved by us in special circumstances.

Digital Products

Digital products are non-refundable once accessed, downloaded, delivered, or made available to you, unless required by law or approved by us in special circumstances.

Physical Products

If you receive a defective, damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different physical product, contact us within 14 days of delivery with supporting evidence such as photos, videos, order number, and delivery details.

Where approved, we may offer a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund, depending on the circumstances.

In-Person and Event-Based Courses

Registration for an in-person course or live event is confirmed once payment is received and is generally non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to an eligible substitute participant by contacting us in advance so we can arrange the change. This applies to the course place only and does not permit account sharing or transfer of any online account, login, or digital course access.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule an in-person course or event due to unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid for that course or event, or, where practicable and at your choice, a credit toward a rescheduled or alternative course.

We are not responsible for any other costs you may incur if a course or event is cancelled or rescheduled, including non-refundable flights, transport, or accommodation, or for any consequential loss.

To request a refund, return, or exchange, contact support@gocatalyst.my.

Nothing in this refund policy limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including videos, text, images, graphics, logos, course materials, quizzes, assessments, resources, certificates, branding, and designs, belongs to Biorehab, Catalyst, instructors, licensors, or content providers, unless otherwise stated.

Your enrollment gives you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the relevant materials for your own educational and professional learning purposes only.

You must not copy, reproduce, share, sell, distribute, upload, record, modify, translate, adapt, or use Platform content for commercial training or teaching outside the Platform without our prior written permission.

Sharing your account login or course materials with others is strictly prohibited.

Unauthorised use of Platform content may result in account termination, certificate revocation, refusal of refund, and legal action where appropriate.

6. Quizzes, Assessments, and Learning Integrity

Courses may include quizzes, assessments, assignments, activities, or practical requirements.

Each course may have its own passing score, attempt limit, completion criteria, and certificate requirements.

You agree to complete all learning activities honestly and without cheating, impersonation, unauthorised assistance, account sharing, or technical manipulation.

We may withhold, suspend, revoke, or correct a certificate if we reasonably believe it was obtained through fraud, cheating, false information, impersonation, account sharing, or breach of these Terms.

7. Certificates

Certificates may be issued when you successfully complete the relevant course, programme, training, quiz, assessment, or other requirements.

Each certificate may include your name, course title, completion date, certificate number, verification code, QR code, certificate status, and expiry date where applicable.

Certificates may be verified through our certificate verification feature. Anyone holding your certificate verification code or QR code may be able to view limited certificate information, such as:

  • a partially masked version of your name;
  • course, programme, or training title;
  • completion or issue date;
  • certificate verification code; and
  • certificate status.

The verification feature is intended to confirm certificate authenticity only. It will not display your full email address, phone number, payment details, quiz scores, full learning records, or private account information.

Some certificates may have an expiry date or renewal requirement. It is your responsibility to check the validity period of your certificate.

We may correct, suspend, revoke, replace, or update a certificate if we reasonably believe there is an error, fraud, cheating, misuse, non-compliance, administrative issue, breach of these Terms, or other valid reason affecting certificate integrity.

Revoked, expired, or invalid certificates may be shown as "revoked", "expired", "invalid", or "not valid" during verification. We will not publicly display detailed reasons unless required by law or necessary to protect certificate integrity.

8. Shop and Product Purchases

Catalyst may offer physical products, digital products, learning resources, tools, merchandise, or other items through the Platform.

Product descriptions, prices, availability, delivery information, and applicable conditions will be displayed on the Platform or at checkout.

We try to ensure product information is accurate, but errors may occur. We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, cancel orders, or refuse transactions where necessary, including where there is a pricing error, stock issue, suspected fraud, or technical error.

Product, course, delivery, payment, and seller information will be disclosed on the Platform or at checkout as required by applicable e-commerce and consumer protection laws.

9. User Content and Acceptable Use

The Platform may allow you to submit comments, reviews, assignments, answers, messages, case reflections, uploads, feedback, or other content ("User Content").

You retain ownership of your User Content, but you allow us to host, store, process, display, review, use, and manage it as necessary to operate, provide, improve, moderate, and protect the Platform.

You must not use the Platform to:

  • violate any law or regulation;
  • infringe another person's intellectual property, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights;
  • upload unlawful, harmful, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or inappropriate content;
  • distribute malware, spam, harmful code, or unsolicited communications;
  • attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, networks, or data;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Platform;
  • scrape, crawl, data-mine, harvest, or extract data without written permission;
  • share account access or paid content;
  • cheat, impersonate another person, or submit false information; or
  • misuse the Platform in a way that harms Biorehab, Catalyst, other users, instructors, service providers, or third parties.

You must not upload, share, or submit patient information, clinical records, identifiable case materials, photos, videos, or third-party personal data unless you have the necessary consent, authority, and legal basis to do so.

We may remove, restrict, moderate, or disable access to User Content if we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms, our Privacy Policy, applicable law, confidentiality obligations, professional standards, or the rights of another person.

10. Professional, Clinical, and Educational Disclaimer

The Platform and its content are provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Course content does not constitute medical advice, legal advice, professional advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, patient-specific recommendation, or a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

If you are a healthcare professional, allied health practitioner, student, trainer, or other professional user, you are responsible for ensuring that any knowledge, technique, method, or information learned through the Platform is applied only:

  • within your qualification, training, competency, and experience;
  • within your legal and professional scope of practice;
  • in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical obligations;
  • with appropriate patient assessment, consent, supervision, and clinical reasoning; and
  • in a safe and responsible manner.

Biorehab does not guarantee that completing a course makes you competent, licensed, credentialed, privileged, authorised, or legally permitted to perform any technique, treatment, procedure, or professional activity.

11. Third-Party Services

The Platform may rely on third-party service providers, vendors, platforms, contractors, or technical partners to operate, support, host, secure, improve, or deliver the Platform.

These may include providers for payment processing, database and authentication, file storage, hosting, email delivery, video hosting, analytics, customer support, communication tools, error monitoring, security, accounting, document generation, certificate generation, and QR code verification.

Examples of providers we may use include Curlec / Razorpay, Supabase, Vercel, Resend, and Vimeo. We may also use other providers from time to time where necessary.

Your use of features powered by third-party services may also be subject to their respective terms and policies.

We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, interruptions, errors, policies, or service failures of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.

12. Privacy and Personal Data

Your use of the Platform involves the collection and processing of personal data.

Our handling of personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to submit personal data of another person unless you have the necessary consent, authority, and legal basis to do so.

13. Platform Availability and Disclaimers

The Platform, courses, products, services, certificates, content, and materials are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We aim to keep the Platform available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, complete, or free from harmful components.

We may modify, suspend, restrict, discontinue, update, or replace any part of the Platform, course, product, feature, or service at any time for maintenance, security, technical, legal, regulatory, operational, or business reasons.

We do not guarantee that certificates will be accepted by any employer, institution, regulator, professional body, or third party.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights, remedies, guarantees, or protections that cannot be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability and Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Biorehab, Catalyst, its partners, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, agents, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss or damage arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Platform.

This includes loss of data, revenue, profit, business opportunity, goodwill, reputation, professional opportunity, learning progress, certificate use, or other intangible losses.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to the Platform, courses, products, services, certificates, or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to us for the relevant purchase giving rise to the claim, or the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, whichever is lower.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Biorehab, Catalyst, its partners, officers, employees, instructors, contractors, agents, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Platform, unauthorised sharing of content, infringement of another person's rights, unlawful disclosure of personal data or patient information, fraud, cheating, impersonation, or violation of law.

This indemnity applies to the extent permitted by law.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

Upon account closure, your access to courses, products, materials, and Platform features may be revoked. Issued certificates may remain verifiable where necessary to protect certificate integrity, prevent fraud, or maintain valid certification records, subject to our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account without refund if we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms, misused the Platform, shared account access or paid content, cheated, submitted false information, infringed rights, uploaded unlawful content, attempted unauthorised access, or acted in a way that harms Biorehab, Catalyst, users, instructors, service providers, or third parties.

Where practical, we may notify you, but we may act immediately where necessary for security, legal, operational, or user-protection reasons.
